The RR house stems from the owners' desire to design a sustainable home that meets the Passivhaus standard, integrated into the plot and with a high level of privacy.
The program includes a night area with two bedrooms, a suite with a bathroom and dressing room, a bathroom and the facilities room and a day area with a living-dining room, kitchen and study. These two areas are arranged in the shape of a broken L around the southeast area of the plot. Attached to the southwest corner is a third volume that includes the garage. The entire program takes place on the ground floor in a constructed area of 357 m2.
To achieve the Passivhaus standard, the enclosure has 200mm of insulation on facades, 130mm on the ground and 370mm on the roof. The carpentries are mixed aluminum wood, 92mm thick and with triple glazing 3 + 3 / 18ª / 4 / 18ª / 3 + 3.
The structure is made up of thermo-clay walls and a light wooden roof with most of the rafters visible.
Air conditioning and DHW are generated by aerothermal energy and air distribution through ducts. The house has a double flow mechanical ventilation with high efficiency heat recovery.
