On December 15, Esteban Pardo, representing Play Arquitectura, gave a conference under the title of "The historical look of contemporary architecture" in the Hall of Degrees of the Quintilian Building of the University of La Rioja. 

The conference dealt with the approach to the architectural project of two great masters of architecture such as Jorn Utzon and Rafael Moneo through their deep capacity for historical understanding. The tour of two of his great works such as the Casa Lis and the Logroño City Council shows how contemporary architecture can have its origin and its discourse based entirely on the historical or cultural origin of the site where it is located. The art of the masters and their capacity for synthesis turn these works of architecture into true history master classes.
