On August 25, the new U42 park in Villamediana de Iregua was opened to public use, with a total area of 1,885 m2. This new park stands out for being the first public space in Villamediana de Iregua with a soft urbanization using polymer-stabilized sand pavements and with a large number of flower beds with grass and trees. The park has a large children's play area made of natural wood and placed on a surface of loose sand with a depth of 30 cm as a cushioning and playing surface. The interior areas of the park are separated from the perimeter streets by steel sheet flowerbeds that are raised on the outside to create a barrier effect while on the inside they are perceived as the green areas of the park.
