On Friday, October 17, Play Arquitectura visited the Arias house in Roncal, the second Passivhaus certified in Spain. The building consists of an isolated single-family house built entirely in a wooden structure and by means of a facade composed of a 20 cm thick wooden framework filled with cellulose delimited with OSB on the inside and with a gutex panel and stone cladding on the inside. The owner and carpenter, Eduardo Arias, responsible for this magnificent construction, gave a detailed explanation of the entire construction system and its facilities, the design of the Canadian well of the ventilation system being especially relevant.
